Oral Surgery Paul A. Bocciarelli, D.M.D

After graduating from Providence College, Dr. Bocciarelli earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1982. He completed his advanced-specialty education in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Washington University School of Dental Medicine in 1986.

Dr. Bocciarelli 
opened his private practice in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in Rocky Hill, Connecticut in 1986. He was board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1988. Dr. Bocciarelli’s teaching activities included acting as lecturer at Washington University School of Dental Medicine and as an instructor in the Division of General Surgery, from 1984 – 1986. He is a Clinical Instructor at the University of Connecticut School of Dental Medicine. He is hospital affiliations are with the St. Francis Hospital and Medical Center, Hartford Hospital and the Connecticut Children’s Medical Center in Hartford. He is also Chairman of the Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Eastern Connecticut Health Network.

Dr. Bocciarelli has been active in leadership positions for various professional organizations throughout his career, including appointment as President of the Hartford Dental Society, Delegate to the Connecticut State Dental House of Delegates and Director of Manchester Health Services. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the Connecticut State Dental Association and the Connecticut Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He has been honored as a Fellow of the American College of Dentists and Pierre Fauchard Academy.
